TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Dialysis RN in West Jordan, Utah, 84088 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Dialysis Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3 days a week, Monday-Saturday, 7 AM - 7:30 PM; 2 night calls a week, 7 PM - 7 AM; on-call every 5th Sunday Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 hours per week Experience: One year experience preferred in nursing skills and knowledge specific to dialysis License: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Dialysis experience - English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write) Job Description: - Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team, and the patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. - Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient using the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. - Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. - Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data. - Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. - Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including but not limited to IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. - Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient. - Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability.
