Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Seafood Order Writer to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Wellington. As a key member of our seafood department, you will be responsible for ordering, replenishing, and merchandising seafood products while ensuring a positive company image by providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities

• Ordering and Replenishment: Replenish products through proper buying procedures, order seafood products, and maintain appropriate back stock levels.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and act upon open PO reports for both purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner, control spoilage/shrink, and achieve turn goals.
• Customer Service: Ensure orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns, oversee customer special order procedure, and provide excellent customer service.
• Financial Management: Maintain financial profitability by meeting and exceeding purchasing and sales targets.Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of seafood products, working knowledge and application of all seafood merchandising expectations, strong basic math skills, and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ordering systems.
