ResponsibilitiesSupport the Power Plant Engineering staff for design and drafting for new equipment and or additions to existing facilities.Perform design work for the development and modification of company equipment and facilities. Evaluate, Design, Specify, draft and order equipment/systems used in the plant, in any of the subsystems such as Control Systems, Piping Layout, Structural modifications, or instrumentation. Gather field information to properly layout equipment design. Obtain necessary drawings and other documentation for the design.Work with others in using and development of plant standards or procedures.Maintain and update existing drawings as new equipment is installed or exiting equipment is modified.The typical responsibilities described herein represent a major portion of the job. Other similar duties may be assigned. When management determines it is efficient to do so this employee may be assigned duties of less complexity.RequirementsAssociate of Science degree in Science and Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience resulting in proven ability to perform the duties of the job. Four years experience in an industrial plant as a designer.Working drawings & file systems management.Applicable experience or familiarity with AutoCAD 2020, AutoCAD Raster Design 2020.Design knowledge and understanding of P&ID's.
